Role And Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems capable of handling high traffic and rapid growth.
- Develop and maintain shared Rust components used across backend and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with iOS, Android, and backend engineers to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences.
- Contribute to feature design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Continuously improve engineering practices and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.

- Commercial or open-source experience with Rust or another systems programming language (e.g. C++, C, OCaml).
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems in production.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Redpanda, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset.
- Interest in building consumer-facing products is advantageous.
- English communication skills required; additional languages are not essential.
