Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Associate Director to address and resolve strategic roadblocks
Develop creative briefs and design content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights
Apply industry-standard frameworks such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production
Utilize data from tools like Google Analytics, CRM, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to set and validate client goals
Manage project execution by delegating tasks, coordinating with specialists and client teams, and maintaining timelines
Build and nurture strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular updates via Slack and meetings
Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual reports and business review presentations to track progress and deliverables
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and client referrals to foster growth

About The Role

The Content Strategist is a pivotal client-facing role responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to enterprise clients. This role involves managing day-to-day client deliverables, creating customized strategies, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. The strategist works primarily with enterprise-level clients, integrating Directive’s services into holistic marketing plans that drive growth and engagement. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
  • Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze web traffic and SEO metrics to inform strategy
  • Organizational and project management skills with proficiency in tools like Asana
  • Experience working in agency settings, particularly within B2B tech or SaaS industries
  • Knowledge of industry trends including AI, automation, and emerging digital marketing techniques
