Role Summary
DOXA Talent is looking for a hands-on, data-oriented B2B marketing leader to build and operate the marketing engine for our global talent company. We are a mature startup, which means we have real traction, real ambition, and just enough chaos to keep boring people away. We need a player-coach who can help us clarify our ICP, sharpen our message, test new channels, support acquisition growth, manage agency partners, and create the sales enablement assets needed to reach mid-market decision makers. This is not primarily a brand stewardship role. The right person has owned measurable demand generation and understands how to connect audience, channel, campaign, conversion, pipeline, and revenue data to better decisions. They are entrepreneurial, analytical, practical, and comfortable operating in ambiguity. They move fast without being reckless, test ideas without falling in love with them, and turn market and performance feedback into better strategy. DOXA’s mission is to transform global communities by creating meaningful work. Our marketing leader must communicate that mission clearly while building a function that creates measurable business impact.
What You’ll Own
- Marketing strategy and ICP development: Partner with leaders to clarify DOXA’s highest-value ICPs, buyer personas, buying triggers, and market access points.
- Brand positioning: Translate stakeholder and market feedback into sharper positioning, clearer messaging, stronger campaigns, and better content.
- Demand generation and performance marketing: Build, test, and optimize a practical acquisition roadmap across paid digital, organic, content, email, events, client, partner, and referral channels. Establish clear hypothesis, conversion paths, budgets, attribution, and performance targets for each channel.
- Revenue enablement: Create the assets, campaigns, playbooks, event templates, email sequences, case studies, and talk tracks needed to help sales leaders and franchisees reach the right buyers.
- Content and thought leadership: Build a content engine that supports customer acquisition, franchisee growth, recruiting, and executive thought leadership.
- Agency and vendor management: Manage DOXA’s branding firm, digital marketing agency, contractors, and other partners with clear briefs, deadlines, feedback, performance targets, and accountability. Ensure outside partners are measured by business outcomes rather than activity or deliverables alone.
- Team leadership and execution: Direct oversight of our small and mighty team of seven while setting their priorities, designing workflow, driving performance, and establishing an operating rhythm while staying close enough to improve the work directly.

Measure of Success
Success in this role will be measured by the marketing team’s ability to create clear business impact, with ICP-aligned customer acquisition as the highest priority. That means sharpening DOXA’s ICP and positioning, improving the volume, quality, conversion, and cost efficiency of sales opportunities, supporting client growth, strengthening brand trust, and building a disciplined marketing operating rhythm grounded in reliable data.
This role will not be measured by marketing activities. Website traffic, impressions, followers, content volume, and campaign launches matter only if they contribute to stronger buyer engagement, improved conversion rates, better pipeline quality, lower acquisition costs, faster learning, and profitable growth. The marketing leader will be expected to establish a practical performance dashboard, define leading and lagging indicators, and use the data to reallocate time and budget toward what works.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience in a growth-stage, services, SaaS, staffing, outsourcing, franchise, consulting, or professional services environment.
- Experience marketing to CEOs, CFOs, HR leaders, business owners, franchisees, and/or mid-market decision makers.
- Demonstrated ability to build or improve a measurable B2B acquisition strategy in a dynamic market, including channel testing, funnel optimization, performance reporting, and budget allocation.
- Hands-on experience across multiple B2B marketing functions, including demand generation, paid media, lifecycle email, website conversion, content, events, partner marketing, sales enablement, analytics, and attribution.
- Proven ability to work with sales teams and connect marketing activity to qualified pipeline, conversion, customer acquisition cost, sales velocity, and revenue outcomes.
- Experience managing agencies, contractors, or external marketing partners.
- Strong analytical fluency, including the ability to define KPIs, interpret funnel and campaign data, diagnose performance issues, and communicate insights clearly. Strong writing, messaging, editing, and communication skills are also required.
- Experience leading people, projects, workflows, and cross-functional priorities.
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience using AI to improve marketing speed, insight, personalization, and workforce-related solutions.

Required Traits
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable operating without a perfect playbook.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves leader who can think strategically and execute directly.
- Curious about buyers, markets, messaging, and what actually drives decisions.
- Fast-moving but disciplined; able to test ideas quickly and learn from the results.
- Willing to challenge weak ideas, including from executives, agencies, and team members.
- Accountable, organized, motivated by our mission plus an intolerance for marketing theater.
- Maniacal tester who learns quickly and can kill their own ideas without a brief grieving period.
- Obsessed with leveraging AI to improve speed, quality, insight, and execution.
