Job Description


Position: Jr. Android Developer

Type: Full-Time (W2)

Candidate must be open to relocate.


We are seeking motivated IT professionals who are passionate about Android application development and eager to build a successful career in mobile technology. This opportunity is designed for candidates with 1–4 years of corporate IT experience who possess a solid programming foundation and are ready to specialize in Android development.


Required Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Software Development, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology, such as Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, Python, React Native, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for a 10-week paid training program, followed by relocation or travel as required for client engagements across the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Android Studio and the Android SDK.
  • Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, Material Design, and Android app architecture (MVVM/MVC).
  • Knowledge of Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging.
  • Understanding of Gradle build tools and dependency management.
  • Experience consuming RESTful web services.
  • Personal Android projects, internships, GitHub portfolio, or published apps on Google Play are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
