Establish technical standards, architectural guidelines, documentation, and best practices for systems infrastructure.
Perform code reviews, quality assurance activities, and knowledge sharing to improve engineering excellence.
Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities, strengthen infrastructure protection, and support compliance requirements.
Mentor other engineers through coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Participate in operational support activities, including on-call rotations, incident resolution, and critical infrastructure maintenance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience working with Linux/Unix systems, particularly Red Hat and Ubuntu environments.
- 7+ years of experience supporting large-scale, geographically distributed server architectures and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong background working with development and system administration teams in complex application environments.
- Experience in telecommunications or similarly large-scale technology environments is highly desirable.
- Strong networking knowledge, including server connectivity, IP, and Ethernet fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, and cloud technologies such as OpenStack, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and Jinja.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and development workflows, including Git/GitHub/GitLab and platforms such as Jenkins or equivalent solutions.
- Experience deploying and configuring web and Linux services such as Nginx, Apache, bind, and iptables.
- Understanding of software lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and technical requirement definition.
- Ability to translate manual operational processes into automated workflows and scalable solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing environments, and deliver solutions within critical deadlines.
- Availability to work Pacific Time business hours and participate in occasional on-call, evening, or weekend support when required.
