🔍 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang
- Build and integrate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
- Contribute to the design and evolution of distributed systems and microservices
- Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs, schemas, and resolvers
- Work with PostgreSQL data models, schema migrations, and performance optimization
- Maintain and improve existing services written in Ruby, including refactoring and optimization activities
- Implement and maintain event publishing and asynchronous communication patterns
- Contribute to observability and monitoring improvements across distributed systems
- Participate in infrastructure-related initiatives using Terraform and Docker-based environments
- Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, and QA teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers

🛠️REQUIREMENTS
Must Have:
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang in production environments
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka, including:
- producers and consumers
- event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of Event-Driven Architecture concepts and asynchronous processing
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs, schemas, and resolvers
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, database migrations, and data modelling
- Experience working with Ruby (Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks is considered a plus)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalability challenges
- Experience implementing or working with feature flags and configuration-driven systems
- Experience with observability tooling, monitoring, tracing, and structured logging
- Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
