Role Description The Head of Human Resources is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for designing and executing the HR strategy to support Payomatix’s growth and global operations. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. The Head of HR develops and maintains HR policies and processes, ensures compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations across regions, and drives fair, inclusive, and high-performing people practices. Daily responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership on organizational design, building learning and development programs, managing compensation and benefits frameworks, and fostering an engaging, diverse, and values-driven culture. The role also handles employee relations, conflict resolution, HR data reporting, and continuous improvement of HR systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in core HR domains, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Experience in HR strategy, organizational development, and change management within fast-paced or high-growth environments.
- Strong skills in HR policies, compliance, and labor law understanding across multiple regions or international operations.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, HR analytics, and data-driven decision-making to support workforce planning and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across teams.
- Proven ability to build inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces, and to implement fair, non-discriminatory HR practices.
- Background in fintech, technology, or financial services environments is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with strong self-management, discretion, and cultural awareness.
