Accountabilities
As a Software Engineer 4 (Mobile), you will lead the development of a core mobile application, owning key technical areas while contributing to product innovation and engineering excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused mobile experiences.
- Lead the development and evolution of a production iOS application.
- Design and implement advanced mobile features, including LiDAR scanning, augmented reality, and floor-plan rendering capabilities.
- Prototype new iOS concepts and innovative ways to visualize and interact with complex data.
- Build and improve offline-first synchronization systems connected to backend services.
- Collaborate with backend and machine learning engineers to integrate technical solutions into a polished mobile experience.
- Own major application subsystems from architecture and implementation through testing and maintenance.
- Make technical decisions that influence application structure, scalability, and long-term product direction.
- Use AI coding agents effectively as part of the development workflow, while maintaining ownership of code quality, architecture, and correctness.
- Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code through strong engineering judgment and debugging practices.

The ideal candidate is a senior mobile engineer with deep iOS expertise, strong ownership skills, and experience building production applications. You should be comfortable working with emerging technologies, ambiguous requirements, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production iOS applications.
- Deep expertise in SwiftUI and experience working with large-scale codebases.
- Strong knowledge of Swift Concurrency, including actors, @MainActor, and Sendable under Swift 6 strict mode.
- Experience with SwiftData or Core Data, including production-level schema migrations.
- Experience designing networking and offline synchronization solutions using technologies such as URLSession, Codable, authentication flows, token refresh, retries, and data reconciliation.
- Proven experience using AI coding agents in real-world development workflows, including tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic solutions.
- Strong testing mindset with experience using xcodebuild, CI workflows, and quality-focused development practices.
- Excellent debugging skills with the ability to investigate issues across application code, frameworks, and generated solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Experience with ARKit, RoomPlan, SceneKit, Metal, spatial computing, or 3D capture technologies is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with 2D/3D geometry, SIMD mathematics, OAuth/OIDC, macOS/AppKit, or backend technologies such as FastAPI and Python is a plus.
