About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design of our platform, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive, visually compelling, and a joy to use. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product’s overall design strategy, working closely with leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to translate complex concepts into elegant, user-friendly solutions. Your expertise will help us destroy complexity through innovative design, creating a cohesive and engaging user experience that aligns with our long-term vision and brand identity. As a key leader in our design organization, you will inspire the team with your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for excellence, pushing the boundaries of conventional design to deliver a truly differentiated product.

In this role, you will oversee the entire design process—from user research and wireframing to prototyping and visual design—ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive design language and style guide that reflects our brand values. Leveraging data, user feedback, and research insights, you will refine the user journey and optimize usability. Your leadership will influence the product roadmap, fostering innovation and ensuring that design solutions meet both user needs and business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere within compatible time zones, with a preference for candidates based in Europe or North America (up to East Coast).

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in UI/UX design for SaaS products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design work
• Extensive experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Whimsical
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and push conventional boundaries
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is preferred
• Bonus: Experience in short-term rental, Airbnb hosting, or related industry knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for our platform, from concept through execution, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Create and maintain a cohesive design language and style guide aligned with brand identity
• Conduct user research and analyze feedback to inform design decisions and improve user journeys
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that are both innovative and practical
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate requirements into elegant design solutions
• Drive the overall design vision, ensuring consistency and quality across all product features
• Inspire and mentor other designers within the organization, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into the design process
• Advocate for user needs and ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all designs
