About The Role

We are seeking a talented mid-level UX and Web Designer to join our agency team on an ongoing contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of design projects from initial concept through to polished, production-ready deliverables. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and clients to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and translating complex requirements into seamless user experiences. This fully remote position requires EST working hours, with approximately 20 hours per week through March 2027, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/UI and website design experience, preferably within an agency or multi-project environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping.
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, from research to production.
• Experience designing responsive websites for web and mobile (iOS/Android).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with design handoff workflows and collaboration with front-end developers.
• Ability to think systematically, balancing big-picture user flows with pixel-perfect details.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of user flows, information architecture, and wireframes across web, mobile, and app projects.
• Translate complex client requirements into clear, intuitive interaction patterns and prototypes.
• Create polished, on-brand UI designs that optimize usability and drive conversions.
• Maintain visual consistency across screens, states, and breakpoints, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
• Collaborate with developers during the design handoff process to ensure fidelity and accuracy.
• Build and maintain scalable component libraries and design systems within Figma.
• Support production work, including QA reviews, design updates, and post-launch adjustments.
• Present and explain design decisions to clients and internal teams, incorporating feedback effectively.
