About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design of our platform, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive, every screen is elegant, and each feature provides a seamless user experience. You will work closely with leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to shape the product’s strategic direction and bring your innovative designs to life. Your primary focus will be to destroy complexity through design, creating a product that is both powerful and easy to use. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our platform, inspire the design team, and contribute to a product that is loved by users worldwide.

You will lead the entire design process, from initial research and wireframing to prototyping, visual design, and interaction design. Developing and maintaining a consistent design language and style guide aligned with our brand and product vision will be a key responsibility. Additionally, leveraging data, user feedback, and research insights to continually refine the user journey will be essential. You will also drive the overall design vision, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term strategy and core values. As a leader, you will inspire the team with innovative ideas and a commitment to creating memorable, user-centric experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in design, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
• Extensive experience in UI/UX design for SaaS products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating delightful, intuitive, and fluid user experiences
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Whimsical
• Creative thinking and the ability to push conventional design boundaries
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A genuine passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a product exceptional
• Experience or familiarity with short-term rental markets, Airbnb hosting, or property management is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within European or American time zones (up to East Coast)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design language and style guide that reflects our brand identity and product vision
• Utilize data, user feedback, and research to continuously improve the user experience and refine user journeys
• Define and drive the overall design vision for the platform, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions
• Inspire and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence
• Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization
