Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Product to join a growing client in the healthcare industry in the DMV area. The Director of Product role will be fully remote but must be located in the DMV area. The Director of Product role is ideal for a strategic product leader with a strong healthcare background, experience building platforms that integrate with EHR systems, and a forward-thinking mindset around AI-driven innovation in clinical and operational workflows.
Responsibilities of the Director of Product include:
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution for a healthcare platform designed to integrate with EHR systems and address workflow gaps across clinical and operational functions.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data, design, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI/ML capabilities that improve efficiency, decision-making, and automation within healthcare workflows.
- Guide product lifecycle from concept through launch, continuously refining based on market trends, user feedback, and healthcare regulatory considerations.
- Build and mentor a high-performing product team while fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and rapid iteration.

- 8+ years of product management experience with a strong leadership background, including managing and developing product teams.
- Healthcare industry experience required, with a strong preference for experience building products that integrate with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and enhance clinical workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/ML technologies within product strategies or solutions.
- Prior startup or high-growth environment experience, with the ability to operate in ambiguity and scale products from early stages.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.

- $190,000-$230,000 base salary, depending on experience
