Driving organizational excellence and strategic evolution within a highly dynamic environment. The core mission is to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, focused on optimizing our structures, fostering internal talent mobility, and building highly scalable, effective teams.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in anchoring and supporting our newly expanding leadership team (including the incoming COO and CMO) while proactively exploring innovative ways to leverage technology and automation (such as AI) to reshape and elevate our organization across diverse operational speeds and cultures.
What You Will Do👇
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand objectives and challenges, offering trusted advice and ensuring the People strategy directly supports the business unit's goals.
- Organizational Design & Change Management: Lead structural design efforts, team sizing evaluations, and organizational optimization initiatives, while guiding leadership and teams through subsequent structural evolutions to ensure high alignment and minimize operational disruption.
- Talent Growth & Succession Planning: Own and drive frameworks for critical talent identification, high-potential development programs, and robust succession planning for key leadership roles to encourage long-term internal mobility.
- Performance Culture: Lead the performance review architecture within the assigned areas, coaching managers on goal-setting, continuous feedback, and development planning to sustain a high-performance culture.
- HR Metrics & Predictive Insights: Leverage People Analytics to diagnose organizational health, identify retention risks, and proactively propose data-backed structural optimizations to business leaders.
- Talent Acquisition Alignment: Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to define future capability gaps and ensure recruitment plans match shifting business priorities.
- Compensation & Governance: Oversee the compensation and promotion review cycles in accordance with internal policies and market benchmarks, ensuring consistency, fairness, and strict budget alignment.
- Engagement & Team Effectiveness: Analyze employee engagement data and collaborate with leaders to design and implement actionable plans that improve sentiment, collaboration, and team effectiveness.
- Strategic Legal Advisory: Act as a strategic advisor for managers on complex labor relations and employment matters, ensuring practices align with labor laws, while partnering with the People Operations team for administrative and transactional execution.
- Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to cross-functional People initiatives—such as performance architecture, rewards programs, and leadership enablement tracking—driving continuous improvement in global People practices.

What We’re Looking For 🔍
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or People Partner, preferably within international tech environments, digital hubs, or mature corporate structures.
- Strategic Autonomy: A proven track record of complete ownership, design, and execution of talent frameworks or organizational design initiatives from scratch, without requiring close supervision.
- Change Management & Leadership Partnering: Strong experience guiding senior leadership (C-level stakeholders) through organizational evolution, leadership transitions, and structural scaling adjustments.
- Analytical Mindset: High comfort level utilizing data and People Analytics to diagnose organizational health, build business cases, and support structural optimization.
- Business Acumen: Ability to align closely with commercial and operational leaders, translating business KPIs (efficiency, metrics, ROI) into proactive people strategies.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and coaching skills, with a proven ability to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and navigate multi-functional environments.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.

Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
