Key Responsibilities
Design and build the messaging/integration layer connecting robotics subsystems with backend and command-and-control platforms
Implement and maintain pub-sub communication using DDS, NATS, or MQTT
Define QoS policies, topic/schema contracts, and service boundaries for real-time, high-volume telemetry
Work closely with backend, frontend, robotics/autonomy, and DevOps teams to keep data flowing cleanly across the stack
Help migrate legacy or ad hoc integrations into a maintainable, typed, well-documented middleware layer
Contribute to architecture reviews, interface definitions, and technical documentation
