We are looking for hands-on AWS cloud and DevOps engineers. You will work on customer projects, working closely with customers and with other Cloudsoft engineers. These projects will range from days to months, from well-architected reviews and cost optimisation, through to cloud migrations and modernisation. Consulting engineers will also have the opportunity to contribute to Cloudsoft products, develop skills in a wide range of technologies, and be involved where interested in many areas of the business as part of a small, supportive, and dynamic team.

Requirements
You should have experience designing, deploying and managing AWS environments. You should be comfortable working directly with customers, have good communication skills, and be comfortable working with clients on calls and in written English.
Expertise in several of the following areas is highly desirable:
- AWS experience in some areas such as: EC2, disaster recovery, data, AI, cost optimisation
- Infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automation, scripting in bash and PowerShell, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef and SaltStack
- CI/CD pipelines
- Serverless, Kubernetes, and traditional application stacks
- Operating and managing production cloud applications
- Agile/iterative development methodologies
- Programming languages and/or scripting languages
- AWS certification (Professional or Associate level), but there will also be opportunities to gain (further) certification
Candidate must be UK based or willing to relocate. We may consider visa sponsorship if required and all prerequisites are met.
