Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data from multiple sources

Build and maintain robust data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Develop Python-based solutions for data transformation, orchestration, automation, and data quality validation

Implement and maintain data models, schemas, and storage solutions to support business analytics and data-driven decision-making

Integrate testing practices into the data engineering lifecycle, including UAT, QA activities, data validation, and release readiness assessments

Ensure data reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and data quality controls

Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including access control, encryption, and IAM policies

Produce and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, runbooks, and test plans

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Stay up to date with emerging GCP services and promote cloud-native data engineering best practices
