Job Description

We're building eCommerce brands and scaling clients, and we need someone who owns the numbers that decide where the money goes.

This is not a marketing-execution role you grow into over years. You'll be trusted with real commercial decisions from the start: what's profitable, what's working, what to kill, what to scale. The ceiling is your output.

About us

Eleniak is a venture studio founded by Shahbaz Khokhar. We're building brands across eCommerce and marketing. We launch products, take on performance clients, and build proprietary AI and internal systems to do it faster than teams ten times our size. You'd work directly with operators who've scaled real brands and real revenue:

  • $3.7M+ eCommerce brand launched in the first 3 months
  • $200M+ client revenue in a performance marketing agency
  • Built internal AI + creative production systems used across the businesses

Marketing craft can be taught. Commercial judgement and raw analytical horsepower can't, so that's what we're hiring for. If you think in spreadsheets, profit and margin, and you want to learn performance marketing from people who've done it, there's room to build here. If you want predictability and step-by-step instruction, this won't fit.

What the work looks like

  • Own product-level P&L: track profitability, CPA, contribution margin and payback. Know what actually makes money, not what looks busy.
  • Live in the dashboards and turn messy data into clear calls: scale this, fix that, stop the other.
  • Compare software and tools, run structured tech assessments, recommend what we buy vs. build.
  • Design growth experiments, measure them honestly (attribution, cohorts, cross-channel), feed the learning into the next sprint.
  • Understand performance deeply enough to systematise it — much of media buying can be automated; your job is the thinking behind it.

What we're looking for

We care about ability, not years of experience, and most people who thrive here are early in their careers. You might be a recent graduate in something numbers-heavy (economics, maths, finance, engineering, the sciences), someone who ran the commercial side of a society, placement or side hustle, or a self-taught operator already obsessed with how businesses make money. What matters is how you think and operate, not your CV.

  • Strong commercial and analytical instinct — P&L, margin, CPA, unit economics
  • Genuine fluency in spreadsheets and turning numbers into decisions
  • Ability to assess tools objectively and systematise workflows
  • Clear written communication
  • High ownership, low ego, entrepreneurial wiring — an operator, not a passenger

Marketing experience is genuinely not required, we'll teach it. Nice to have: exposure to performance marketing or media buying, a fast/test-driven environment, post-grad background, or the kind of person who'd start something themselves.

How we work

High responsibility, clear accountability, real upside earned through output. Structured sprints, clear briefs, measurable outcomes. No bloated project management, no micro-management. AI is integrated across the workflow and you use it as leverage, not get replaced by it.

In-office, Birmingham. Growth work happens best in the room.

What you get

Visa sponsorship available. Competitive salary + performance bonus · real ownership of the numbers that move real money · mentorship from operators who've scaled · cutting-edge AI tools and internal systems · a participation pathway for top performers.

To apply

Hit 'Apply' and complete our short application, including a 5-minute challenge. It will take approx. 15 minutes, and a real person reviews every one.

We hire on how you think and how you execute, not how polished your CV is.

The process

Apply + 5-min challenge → screening call → 2-day hackathon (in person, Birmingham) → final selection → offer.
