This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of quality engineering, healthcare interoperability, and API-driven systems. You will contribute to ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of critical healthcare data exchange solutions that support real-world payer and provider ecosystems. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of API-based healthcare integration systems through structured testing and validation activities. Your core responsibilities include:
- Executing comprehensive API and integration testing for interoperability solutions such as CRD, DTR, PAS, Member Access, and payer-to-payer services
- Designing, developing, and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test data for FHIR-based healthcare integrations
- Validating APIs against business rules, CMS regulations, and Da Vinci Implementation Guides
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects while collaborating with development teams for resolution
- Supporting validation of data mappings, integration workflows, and end-to-end system behavior
- Performing API testing using tools such as VS Code and AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Copilot)
- Ensuring overall system quality, accuracy, and compliance within healthcare data exchange processes
This position requires strong QA experience with API testing, ideally within healthcare or regulated environments, along with solid analytical and technical skills. Ideal candidates should have:

- Minimum 5 years of QA or software testing experience
- Strong experience in API testing (REST, JSON) and integration validation
- Familiarity with tools such as VS Code or similar development/testing environments
- Solid understanding of test case design, defect tracking, and QA methodologies
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working in healthcare interoperability environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of standards such as HL7 FHIR, CRD, DTR, PAS, or CMS interoperability rules is a strong plus
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure is desirable
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
- Competitive annual salary range: $92,000 - $131,000 USD (plus performance-based incentives)
