Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire software and hardware lifecycle for Apple devices
Design and maintain a zero-touch deployment strategy using Apple Business Manager and Kandji
Build custom software packages (.pkg, .dmg) and curate a Self-Service application catalog
Proactively manage security vulnerabilities, system hardening (CIS benchmarks), and OS/application patching
Utilize Bash, Zsh, and Python to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes
Collaborate with the global team to optimize MDM infrastructure and oversee Managed Apple IDs
Diagnose, track, and resolve complex performance and compatibility issues across macOS platforms
Provide expert support via ticket queues within established SLAs and escalate issues with partners like Apple
Offer similar systems engineering support for Windows devices in secure environments

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management, compliance, functionality, and security of our Apple ecosystem and Windows endpoints, specifically covering macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices. You will act as a subject matter expert, offering deep technical support, managing vulnerabilities, and driving the automated deployment and maintenance of our Mac fleet to ensure an exceptional user experience.
