Senior Platform Engineer - Enterprise CI/CD Tooling

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Platform Engineer II to join the SOLO (Software Logistics) DevOps team within the Development Tooling department. This team is responsible for the tooling, automation, infrastructure, and self-service capabilities that support companies enterprise-wide CI/CD platform used by over 4,000 IT engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Management

• Manage, maintain, and enhance platform infrastructure supporting enterprise CI/CD tooling.
• Support cloud-based infrastructure environments, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage and support Kubernetes (K8S) environments and related platform services.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, scalability, and security.
• Participate in infrastructure standardization initiatives across the department.

DevOps & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that improve operational efficiency.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and supporting automation frameworks.
• Contribute to self-service onboarding capabilities for engineering teams.
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Promote DevOps and SecDevOps best practices across the organization.

Application & Platform Support

• Provide Level 2 operational support for critical business applications and platform services.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production and platform-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor platform health and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support over 4,000 engineers using the enterprise CI/CD platform.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve platform-related issues and improve user experience.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and team planning activities.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team learning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Security & Compliance

• Apply security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to secure platform design and implementation.
• Support vulnerability management and platform hardening activities.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) administration and operations.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and SecDevOps principles.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms and business-critical applications.
• Knowledge of Linux systems administration.
• Understanding of networking, security, and platform operations concepts.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an Operations Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineering role.

• Experience providing L2 support for critical business applications.
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting capabilities.
