The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, cloud-native application development on Azure, microservices architecture, containerization technologies, and CI/CD automation. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is an added advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
- Build robust, scalable, and secure backend services following industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Cloud & Containerization
- Develop and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Work with containerized environments using Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Ensure cloud-native solutions are scalable, resilient, and highly available.

Microservices Architecture
- Design and implement distributed microservices-based systems.
- Ensure seamless communication between services using modern integration patterns.

- Create, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to automate application build, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Experience with Azure-based application development.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and implementation.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
- Understanding of cloud-native development principles.
