Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner Lead based in Italy.

As a Product Owner Lead, you will play a strategic role in shaping product vision, driving execution, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and product development initiatives. Leading and mentoring Product Owners across multiple product streams, you will help establish scalable processes, improve delivery excellence, and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams. This position combines hands-on product ownership with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to influence both product strategy and team performance. Working in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment, you will contribute to the growth of digital products used by international audiences while promoting a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and customer-focused decision-making.

Accountabilities

  • Define and maintain a shared product vision that aligns with broader business goals and long-term growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage product roadmaps, ensuring resources are focused on high-impact initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Product Owners, helping them improve stakeholder management, prioritization, and product decision-making capabilities.
  • Oversee product delivery across multiple product areas, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely execution of roadmap commitments.
  • Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, proactively resolving dependencies, conflicts, and delivery challenges.
  • Establish, refine, and maintain product management processes, frameworks, and standards that support scalable product development.
  • Act as Product Owner for a dedicated development team, managing backlog prioritization, requirement definition, and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product execution.
  • Monitor and maintain product documentation, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product leadership role.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading, mentoring, or managing Product Owners or product-focused teams.
  • Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through delivery and optimization.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Product Discovery, Product Delivery, Agile methodologies, and Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and balancing competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centric product development practices.
  • Basic technical knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, enabling effective collaboration with development teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed or remote teams while maintaining alignment and productivity.
  • High level of organization, ownership, and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Figma is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience within the iGaming, gambling, betting, or related digital entertainment sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with third-party platform integrations, product testing processes, and quality assurance practices is beneficial.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and their impact on product performance is considered a plus.
