About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Data Engineer to join enterprise-scale data initiatives across diverse domains. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data platforms, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

This role requires hands-on experience with modern data engineering technologies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks
• Build robust data ingestion solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources
• Develop and optimize large-scale data lake and data warehouse architectures

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions
• Implement data governance, lineage, data quality, and monitoring frameworks
• Optimize data processing performance, scalability, and reliability
• Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and promote data engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and data platform implementation
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with:
• Spark / PySpark
• Databricks
• Kafka
• Snowflake
• Airflow

• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and platforms such as Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar

• Solid understanding of data modeling, orchestration, and performance optimization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud migration and data modernization programs
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to data governance, metadata management, and lineage tools
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
