About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Data Tester to join a dynamic data-focused project on a 12-month B2B contract. This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals based in Poland who have a strong background in both manual and automated testing within data environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data solutions across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency across data pipelines and platforms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Analyse data using SQL to identify issues, validate transformations, and verify business requirements.

• Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to resolve defects and improve overall quality.
• Document test plans, test cases, defects, and testing results.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a QA Tester, Data Tester, or similar role.
• Strong experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Solid SQL skills with the ability to validate and analyse data effectively.
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or data platforms.
• Exposure to Databricks environments.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PySpark.
