Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Automation QA Architect in the United States.
In this senior technical role, you will design, evolve, and scale enterprise-grade test automation frameworks that support modern cloud-native applications. You will act as a key architect responsible for advancing automation capabilities across the organization, with a strong focus on Playwright, Selenium, and Karate-based frameworks. This position goes beyond execution, requiring you to enhance framework design, build reusable automation capabilities, and define best practices that can be adopted enterprise-wide. You will work in a cloud-focused environment leveraging AWS services while collaborating closely with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration. The role also involves exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI to improve automation efficiency and intelligence. This is a highly impactful position for a hands-on architect who thrives on innovation, autonomy, and continuous improvement.

- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to deploy and manage automation solutions within AWS environments (ECS, Lambda, ECR, Secrets Manager).
- Evaluate and implement improvements leveraging emerging technologies, including Generative AI (e.g., AWS Bedrock) for test automation enhancement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and optimizing existing QA automation processes.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams to ensure scalable and maintainable test automation architecture.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide technical leadership in resolving framework-related challenges.
