Coordinate Agile ceremonies, Jira boards, and project artifacts to support team execution and continuous improvement
Collaborate with business sponsors, IT leaders, and cross-functional teams to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and trade-offs, ensuring clear visibility and timely resolution
Provide clear, concise status reporting and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
Coordinate delivery across multiple teams, vendors, and business partners in a distributed environment
Support release planning, change management, and adoption readiness activities
Contribute to improvements in Agile delivery processes, governance, and portfolio management practices

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Agile Project Manager in Canada.

This role is responsible for leading medium-complexity IT projects within an increasingly Agile-driven environment, ensuring end-to-end delivery from planning through execution and closure. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and ensure that scope, timelines, risks, and quality are effectively managed across multiple initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will apply Agile principles pragmatically to support delivery across IT and business teams with varying levels of Agile maturity. The position plays a key role in driving transparency through reporting, forecasting, and portfolio-level visibility. You will also contribute to improving Agile practices and project delivery frameworks across the organization. This is a highly collaborative role suited for someone who enjoys balancing structure with flexibility in complex, mission-driven environments.

Accountabilities

  • Manage Agile and hybrid IT projects from initiation through delivery and closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, roadmaps, forecasts, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies, Jira boards, and project artifacts to support team execution and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business sponsors, IT leaders, and cross-functional teams to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of IT project management or Agile delivery experience in medium-complexity environments.
  • Experience managing SaaS, COTS, or enterprise IT solution delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, vendor deliverables, and project metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Certification in Agile or project management (CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in large, global, or decentralized organizations is a plus.
