Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer – Warehouse Management to drive the delivery of complex, high-impact software solutions. This is a key individual contributor role focused on technical leadership, system design, and engineering excellence in a fully remote environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with product goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and direction, defining engineering standards and aligning solutions with product objectives
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems from concept to production
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, driving sprint execution and continuous improvement

Core Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles
  • Experience building domain-driven microservices architectures (stateful/stateless)
  • Expertise in event-driven systems (event sourcing, idempotency, replay)
  • Experience designing high-volume, low-latency distributed systems
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes / AKS and modern GitOps practices (blue-green, canary deployments)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Expertise in integrating cyber-physical systems (robots, IoT, ASRS)
  • Experience building AI/ML inference systems and APIs
  • Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems (monolith decomposition, strangler patterns)
  • Strong understanding of WES/WMS and supply chain systems


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proven experience leading delivery of complex software solutions in Agile environments
  • Strong programming expertise in .NET / C#
  • Experience with testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
