Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of operational processes that ensure the proper segregation and safeguarding of client crypto-assets.
• Assist in maintaining custody and safeguarding procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Monitor and support the operation of hot, warm, and cold wallet environments.
• Assist in the execution and verification of digital asset transfers, ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval procedures.
• Perform daily reconciliation of internal records against blockchain wallet balances and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
• Support the management and monitoring of wallet infrastructure, including Multi-Signature (Multi-Sig) and MPC-based custody solutions.
• Assist in maintaining secure procedures related to cryptographic key management and access controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams on safeguarding-related initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities related to digital asset custody and safeguarding.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of operational controls, processes, and documentation.

Requirements

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Crypto Operations, Digital Asset Operations, Blockchain Operations, Custody Operations, Treasury Operations, or a related field.
• Experience working within a cryptocurrency exchange, digital asset platform, fintech, or financial services environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital asset custody, wallet operations, or safeguarding processes is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Good understanding of blockchain fundamentals and cryptocurrency transaction flows.
• Familiarity with wallet infrastructure, including hot, warm, and cold wallets.
• Exposure to Multi-Signature (Multi-Sig), MPC, HSM, or other custody technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of blockchain explorers, wallet reconciliation processes, and on-chain transactions.

Regulatory & Risk Awareness

• Familiarity with digital asset safeguarding concepts and client asset protection principles.
• Knowledge of MiCA or European digital asset regulations is advantageous but not required.
• Strong awareness of operational risk and security best practices.

Language Skills

• Professional proficiency in English.
• German language skills are highly preferred.
