Network and Cloud Engineer

We have an exciting client with job opening for a Network & Cloud Engineer to their team to oversee their on-prem network and cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in Cisco Layer 2 & 3 engineering as well as firewall administration and experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Meraki. Additionally, we are seeking an individual familiar with cloud-hosted networking in either AWS or Azure environments, or ideally, both.

This is a full-time, direct hire role with our client that can be 100% remote. Target compensation range for the role, which could vary depending experience, is somewhere between $90,000 - $130,000. Additionally, they offer an exceptional benefits package.

Job Responsibilities for the Network Cloud Engineer:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate, branch, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Design and manage hybrid connectivity between on-premises networks and cloud platforms using IPsec VPN and SD-WAN.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switching and routing infrastructure, including high availability and segmentation.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor Meraki networks (MX, MR, and MS) across branch and corporate locations, focusing on performance, wireless coverage, and operational simplicity.
• Implement and operate Cato SASE / SD-WAN infrastructure to deliver optimized, resilient branch-to-cloud and site-to-site connectivity.
• Manage ad troubleshoot Cisco ISE implementation.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking in AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway, peering, routing) and Azure (VNets, Virtual WAN, peering).

Job Qualifications for the Network Cloud Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience, including cloud networking.
• Strong production experience managing and troubleshooting AWS and/or Azure network environments.

Strong experience with:

• Enterprise routing and switching (Cisco Catalyst / IOS-XE)
• Cisco Meraki portfolio (MX, MR, MS)
• SD-WAN platforms (Cato SASE or equivalent)
• Cloud networking services: AWS VPC/Transit Gateway and Azure VNet/Virtual WAN
• Hybrid connectivity and dynamic routing (BGP, IPsec)
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
