Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL database environments.

Monitor database performance, availability, and health to ensure optimal operation.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.

Ensure database security, compliance, and data integrity.

Manage database access controls, user roles, and permissions.

Develop and maintain scripts for database automation, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Collaborate with application developers and architects on database design, schema optimization, and data modeling.

Support database migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.

Implement and maintain high-availability and replication solutions where required.

Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
