Role: Application / Technology Architect -GCP
Location: Hybrid , Minneapolis, Minnesota ( open for relocation) but to be onsite
Top 3 Required Skills
GCP Dataflow: 3+ years of experience with large-scale data processing.
Java / Spring Boot: 13+ years of professional software development experience.
Cloud Architecture: Proven design experience in both GCP and AWS environments.
Disqualifiers
Non-local candidates (Client requires Minneapolis area).
Candidates with less than 13 years of total software development experience.
Lack of specific GCP Dataflow experience (3+ years required).
Role Summary This is a high-level Application/Technology Architect position focused on designing and providing technical solutions for large-scale data processing systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing system architecture and leading technical direction while remaining an individual contributor. The project involves working within a cloud-native environment specifically leveraging GCP and AWS for critical product initiatives.

- Manage and design systems utilizing both NoSQL and Relational Databases.
- Provide technical leadership and design system architectures while acting as an individual contributor.
- Professional Software Development: 13+ years of experience.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 3+ years of experience.
- Java & Spring Boot: Strong proficiency and recent hands-on experience.
- GCP Dataflow: Minimum 3 years of experience with large-scale applications.
- Cloud Architecture: Proficiency in both GCP and AWS architectures.
- Modern Development: Knowledge of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Databases: Solid experience with NoSQL and Relational Databases.
- Data Engineering certifications.
- Experience with advanced cloud-native monitoring and security protocols.
- Strong technical leader capable of providing direction for complex requirements.
- Adaptable individual contributor comfortable with hybrid collaboration.
