Quantitative Research and Execution Platform Developer

Become part of our financial clients’ team and help develop advanced quantitative research and execution platforms supporting global markets. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, data, and analytics—helping to enhance the performance and scalability of systems that support research, signal generation, and trade execution.

Your tasks

• Create and optimize scalable KDB/Q solutions used in research and trade execution workflows
• Drive effective testing strategies, automation frameworks, and performance enhancements
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes
• Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of system architecture and workflow efficiency
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands‑on KDB/Q experience within quantitative finance or related domains and 4 years in software development
• Strong Python programming skills; exposure to back‑testing or signal research is a plus
• Solid understanding of data structures, time‑series data, and analytical problem‑solving
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Familiarity with ML techniques, pykx, or cloud tooling is considered an advantage
• Openness to working from the Warsaw office at least 3 days per week
• Residing in Poland required
