Responsibilities:
A proven track record of designing, building, monitoring and managing large-scale data products, pipelines, tooling and platforms.
Work in a team for Typescript Engineers and Data Engineers in developing
ETL processes that retrieve, validate and shape data from APIs and Kafka topics to load onto a new platform.
Experience developing cloud-based solutions on GCP (preferably), AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
Excellent knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of the best engineering practices and continuous delivery.
You need to understand that building quality software is essential and that you value automation and continuous delivery.
A love for building scalable, resilient solutions, and you enjoy influencing the team's technology selection and architectural direction.
Requirements:
Knowledge of best practices and methodologies in Data Warehousing
Experience in working on GCP
Experience with BigQuery
Experience in building and supporting ETL pipelines using SQL technologies
Experience with Kafka, Kafka Connect or similar would be a plus
Experience with database administration and MSSQL would be an advantage
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes, Terraform would be a plus
Upper-intermediate English
Experience working in an Agile development process
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
