Chief AI Scientist

Morpheus are currently partnered with a global leader in geotechnical, survey, and geoscience services. They offer expertise in data collection and analysis for industries such as oil and gas, renewables, and infrastructure.
They are looking to bring in a Chief Scientist (AI), you will be at the forefront of the AI strategy. Leading the progress in this domain and building & leveraging from the best-in-class partnerships. You will interact with our clients, executive teams as well as thriving engineering community. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities, develop AI-powered solutions, and ensure the successful integration of AI technologies into our products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's AI strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance on AI trends, opportunities, and best practices
- Build strategic partnerships with leading AI companies
- Lead AI research initiatives to explore emerging technologies and methodologies
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI capabilities
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop AI-powered solutions.
- Establish policies and guidelines for the responsible and ethical use of AI.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into products and services.
- Translate technical concepts into layman's terms to ensure clear understanding and alignment with Executive members.
Technical Capabilities
- (Spatial data) Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Big Data Technologies and AI Infrastructure and Tools
Requirements
- Previous experience in leading artificial intelligence at an engineering, space, defence, renewables (or related industry) business
- Experience creating partnerships with AI businesses and vendors
- Ability to understand business objectives, identify AI opportunities that align with strategic goals, and communicate the value proposition of AI initiatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Masters/ PhD in Engineering / Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related degree
Please note, you must have the right to work in the Netherlands and be comfortable commuting into office for this role. Remote is not an option.
