Job Description

The Senior Engineer – Mechanical Component Design will be responsible for Mechanical Component Design activities that support GE Vernova Hitachi's (GVH) BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Plant Equipment Design.They will develop design specifications, create, and mature design concepts, provide procurement support, generate drawings and design documentation, and provide testing oversight. This position requires interface with Business Project Managers, Technical Project Engineers, Sourcing, equipment manufacturers, and with engineering teams within GE Vernova and partner companies.Primary design focus areas for our Mechanical Equipment Design team may include, but are not limited to:
