Executive Recruiter (Director and VP-level Roles)

Job Title: Executive Recruiter

Location: Nashville, TN

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Pay Rate: $70–$75/hour

Contract Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Role Overview

The Executive Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for Director- and Vice President–level roles. This position partners closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to deliver high-quality executive talent while supporting enterprise-wide talent acquisition initiatives. The role requires strong consultative skills, experience influencing executives, and the ability to develop effective sourcing strategies for complex and hard-to-fill roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end executive recruiting for Director and VP-level positions

• Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and recommend qualified candidates

• Source, interview, assess, and present executive talent from internal and external pipelines

• Extend and negotiate offers, including compensation and potential relocation support

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that produce diverse candidate slates

• Maintain strong relationships with executives, hiring managers, and HR partners

• Support and guide recruiters contributing to executive hiring initiatives

• Analyze recruiting data and market trends to improve hiring outcomes

• Contribute to talent acquisition process improvements and enterprise recruiting strategies

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

• 7+ years of recruiting experience in staffing or corporate environments

• Proven experience recruiting Director and VP-level roles

• Experience using applicant tracking systems and advanced sourcing techniques

• Ability to operate independently and manage complex searches

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday ATS experience

• Corporate executive recruiting background

• Experience in healthcare or insurance environments

• SPHR certification

• Strong project management and process improvement experience

• Ability to lead or support recruiting campaigns and talent pipeline initiatives

• Experience partnering directly with executives throughout the hiring process

• Negotiation experience, including vendor or contract discussions

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other HR systems

• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
