Job Description

The National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and automate the end-to-end data processing pipeline for AMOF’s weather and cloud radars. You will also develop software services and applications that enable users to visualise and interact with real-time and archived radar observations.You will join the Remote Sensing Group at NCAS-Leeds and work alongside the instrument and research scientists, staff within the IT team and colleagues at the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CEDA, based in Harwell).As NCAS Software Engineer, your main duties will include:
