The Role

We are seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to join one of our clients in building an advanced AI-driven data platform that combines generative AI, business intelligence, and data analytics.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying NLP models that enhance the platform’s ability to understand and generate natural language, enabling powerful insights and real-time data interaction.

This is a long-term, full-time remote engagement for a highly skilled professional passionate about natural language processing, generative AI, and data science innovation.

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models for tasks such as text classification, summarization, entity extraction, and predictive analytics.
• Enhance and optimize existing NLP frameworks to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, analysts, and AI engineers to integrate NLP models into production systems.
• Research emerging NLP and LLM technologies to continuously evolve development processes.
• Optimize and maintain real-time, large-scale AI systems with strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and iteratively improve deployed NLP pipelines.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and AI strategy discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Proficiency with Python and relevant NLP frameworks such as Hugging Face, spaCy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of transformers and language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA).
• Experience deploying NLP models in production environments.
• Knowledge of RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Weaviate, and OpenAI APIs.
• Strong grasp of data analytics and working with SQL.
• Familiarity with multi-agent or agentic AI systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate remotely.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and model-monitoring best practices.
• Experience working with open-source LLMs and vector databases.
• Exposure to MLOps or data-engineering workflows.
• Contributions to open-source NLP or AI projects.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for applied AI research.
