We are building a new, world-class corporate website to serve as our primary digital storefront. We need an expert developer to build a site that effectively showcases our sophisticated software product, generates qualified leads, and serves as a hub for our marketing and support efforts.
Role Overview
We are looking for a top-tier Senior WordPress Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience to architect, build, and maintain our new corporate website.
This is a fully remote position, but you must be based in Lahore. As you will be collaborating with a global team, excellent (C1/C2 level) written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate is a technical partner who has deep experience building high-performance websites for B2B technology or SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) companies. You must have a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to build custom sites that translate complex product features into a compelling user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Take full ownership of the end-to-end development of the new 3DLogistiX WordPress website, from technical architecture to deployment.
- Custom Development: Build a high-quality, high-performance, and responsive custom WordPress theme and bespoke plugins. This is not a page-builder or pre-made theme role.
- B2B/SaaS Functionality: Implement features crucial for a software company, such as:
- Dynamic product feature showcases.
- Complex "Request a Demo" and lead-generation forms.
- Integration with our CRM (HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
- Potential integration with our WMS for a support portal or client-only area.
- Performance & Security: Engineer the site for maximum speed, scalability, and performance (Core Web Vitals). Implement robust security measures to protect company and user data.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate closely with marketing and leadership to translate business goals (e.g., lead gen, product education) into a clear technical roadmap.
- SEO & Best Practices: Build the site using modern development standards and SEO best practices (clean code, schema markup, fast load times).
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Proactively manage website updates, perform backups, and quickly troubleshoot and resolve any bugs or performance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional web development experience, with a heavy focus on the WordPress ecosystem.
- Mandatory Portfolio: A strong portfolio that must include examples of custom-built websites for B2B tech, SaaS, or software product companies. Please be prepared to discuss your specific role and the technical challenges involved.
- English Proficiency: Excellent (C1/C2 level) written and verbal English communication skills are mandatory. You must be comfortable leading technical discussions and collaborating daily with a remote team in English.
- Location: Must be based in Lahore, Pakistan.
Technical Expertise:
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Deep understanding of the WordPress architecture: custom post types, taxonomies, hooks, filters, and the WordPress REST API.
- Proven experience building custom themes and plugins from the ground up.
Best Practices
- Proficient with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Solid understanding of web security principles and hardening WordPress.
- Expertise in website performance optimization (caching, asset minification, query optimization).
