Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Location: 100% Remote
We’re seeking an experienced Platform / Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), strong Python development skills, and hands-on experience with Jenkins. You’ll help design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure and automation that power our scalable, secure, and reliable healthcare technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related tooling to ensure fast, reliable software delivery.
- Develop automation and tooling in Python to streamline infrastructure operations, monitoring, and deployments.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based application environments for high availability and performance.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain platform reliability.
- Collaborate across engineering, QA, and security teams to deliver scalable, compliant platform solutions.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning to improve system resilience.
Required Experience
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience designing and managing GCP infrastructure and services such as GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, networking, Pub/Sub, and Firestore.
- Python: Strong programming experience building automation, tooling, and integrations.
- Jenkins / CI/CD: Proven experience creating and maintaining pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Containers & Kubernetes: Skilled in deploying and scaling containerized applications.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure is a plus, but recent GCP expertise is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
