DevOps Engineer - Video Streaming - up to 60k gross annualy - Apeldoorn / Hybrid

Join a dynamic media production company, comprising of 40 professionals specialized in video streaming products, spread across four collaborative departments. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in their continuous endeavor to innovate and streamline their innovative platform. Your expertise in Kubernetes, Python and Linux will be pivotal in maintaining, scaling and enhancing their technical infrastructure.

You will be part of a team offering cutting-edge solutions using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, collaborating with leading media & technology companies globally. Their focus includes deploying new technology that integrates seamlessly and remotely managing and operating video services for customers worldwide. Their customer base consists of cable operators, telcos, broadcasters and other businesses in the video and television industry.

In this role, you'll engage in a variety of tasks including participating in daily scrums in an agile setting, independently solving technical issues, and translating customer challenges into effective solutions. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high availability and quality. Your role will also involve collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams on diverse projects and effectively managing relationships with clients and suppliers.

Required skills:

• Demonstrable experience with key DevOps methodologies and tools, including proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, among others.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Linux system administration, coupled with familiarity with major cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS experience.
• Programming / scripting skills with Python.
• Proven track record in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices.
• Educational background in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with effective communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to ongoing learning and technological evolution.

Salary: Up to 60K gross per year + strong secondary package
