Junior Software Engineer

As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in hands-on development while building your technical leadership skills, understanding architectural decisions and implementing solutions. This role offers a growth path toward technical leadership, where you’ll guide the platform’s evolution, mentor engineers, and bridge engineering with product and stakeholder needs.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer. The Junior Software Engineer will be responsible for full platform engineering, including back-end, database, web and mobile applications. The role involves working closely with the senior engineering team to design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the highest industry standards. It is not necessary for you to have experience in all these platforms as we will train you to leverage AI tools to efficiently develop and operate the MetaCTO way.

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

Total Compensation Range: $105,000 - $124,000

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science
• Proficiency in some kind of Software Development
• Experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience with mobile application development is a plus
• Experience with developing polished UI interfaces is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
