In this role, you will help design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions that support modern applications, from internal business tools to cutting-edge autonomous systems. You will work with virtualization and container technologies, including Kubernetes and KubeVirt, to enhance platform performance and developer experience. This position involves collaboration across geographically distributed teams, driving innovation in infrastructure automation, operational efficiency, and platform reliability. The role offers the opportunity to influence tooling, best practices, and processes while working on high-impact projects that touch multiple facets of technology deployment. This is ideal for a self-driven engineer passionate about DevOps, cloud-native systems, and improving platform operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain virtualization and containerized platforms, including Kubernetes/KubeVirt and OpenShift
  • Upgrade and manage OpenShift Virtualization operators, namespaces, and permissions
  • Develop automation for provisioning, lifecycle management, decommissioning, and migration of workloads
  • Collaborate with team members on code standards, technical design, and code reviews
  • Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects that improve scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Contribute to documentation, run books, and platform architecture guidance to support global deployments


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of Linux experience across multiple distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE)
  • 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes, KubeVirt, and container/virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud PaaS/IaaS platforms such as GCP or Azure
  • 2+ years working with GIT and CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Argo, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Experience with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in Kustomize/Helm and at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON formats, and application deployment methodologies
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, self-starter attitude, and ability to work independently
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, VMware, and network load balancers
