Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an international team focused on building scalable, automated, and high-performing infrastructure for next-generation platforms.
This is a contract role, and candidates should be comfortable working within the Asian time zone (SGT/JST).
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and deployment processes across large-scale cloud environments. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance, reliability, and automation excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
- Collaborate with software engineering, operations, and security teams to enhance system reliability and security.
- Monitor and optimize performance across cloud environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in automation and system operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering or cloud infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a distributed team environment.
