Junior quality tester

We're building a new international Data Engineering team (6 members) at Techwave and looking for a Data-Focused Automation QA Engineer to join us for a long-term, full-time project in the housing domain (client based in the UK). Junior QA tester are welcome

Role Highlights:

• Focus on data validation, transformation, and data integrity testing

• Strong SQL, ETL understanding, data modeling

• Scripting experience in Python / Java / Bash

• Automation & API testing using PyTest, Postman, SoapUI, etc.

• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and data quality tools like Great Expectations, Talend, or Informatica

• Not a manual QA role – you’ll be writing test scripts like a dev

Position Details:

• Start: September / October 2025 (flexible)

• Type: Full-time | Contract or employment

• Location: Fully remote or hybrid (Budapest office – optional visits)

• Team: International, daily collaboration with the UK team
