We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup that’s redefining what’s possible on Bitcoin and decentralized networks. Their suite of products enables developers to build smart contracts, digital assets, dApps, and on-chain data systems making it easier to bring Web3 to life.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (API / Backend) to join a world-class engineering team. You’ll design and build scalable backend services and APIs that power blockchain data, token metadata, and ordinals, helping developers create the next wave of decentralized applications on Bitcoin.

You’ll work remotely alongside an exceptional distributed team, contributing to open-source projects and solving complex technical challenges in scalability, performance, and reliability.

Essential Experience REQUIRED:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs for developer-focused blockchain tools
• Ensure reliability and low-latency performance across high-traffic systems
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ship end-to-end features
• Write clean, testable, and automated code with robust CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in architecture discussions and champion engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and continuously improve production systems

Tech Stack;

• 5+ years of software development experience building production systems
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Rust
• Proven experience designing and scaling APIs or microservices
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, data modeling, and query optimization
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Passion for clean code, automation, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across remote teams
• Experience or strong interest in Blockchain / Web3 technologies
