About the Role
We are looking for a talented Flutter Developer to join our team and lead the development of Unfold, a next-generation AI-powered wellness platform. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing a scalable mobile app that combines journaling, health insights, and therapy features. This role requires a strong foundation in app architecture, Flutter development, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.
What you'll do
- Architect and Develop: Design and implement a scalable, modular architecture for the Unfold app using Flutter and Dart.
- Build Features: Create custom UI components, health insights dashboards, and journaling tools, ensuring responsiveness across devices.
- Integrate APIs: Work with APIs such as OpenAI GPT for AI insights and wearable platforms like Apple Health and Fitbit.
- Manage State: Implement and manage app-wide and feature-specific states using frameworks like Riverpod or Provider.
- Ensure Offline Functionality: Use local storage solutions like SQLite or Hive to ensure seamless offline support.
- Optimize Performance: Build apps that are performant and responsive, even with complex data handling.
- Collaborate: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and deliverables.
- Document: Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation to support team understanding and scalability.
What we're looking for:
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming.
- Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, or BLoC).
- Expertise in state management tools like Riverpod, Provider, or Bloc.
- Proven ability to design modular and scalable architectures.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (async/await, Future, Stream).
- Familiarity with local data storage solutions (e.g., SQLite, Hive).
- Knowledge of responsive design principles for various device sizes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with AI integrations (e.g., OpenAI, chatbot frameworks).
