About the Role
We are working with a high-growth early-stage AI Startup building cutting-edge enterprise data solutions. This is an opportunity to join a world-class team developing a product that empowers global enterprises to unlock and leverage their data like never before.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core product features across the full technology stack (Rust, React, Python).
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive innovative, scalable solutions.
- Develop and optimise systems for ingesting and processing diverse data types.
- Collaborate with a world-class engineering team to democratise enterprise data access.
Location & Compensation
- Location: Brooklyn, NY — On-site role.
- Relocation support and visa transfer may be possible, but new sponsorship is not available.
- Compensation: $150,000–$280,000 base salary (DOE) + Meaningful Equity.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in at least one compiled language (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, etc.), with broader experience beyond Java.
- Strong foundation in mathematics or computer science, with practical software engineering experience.
- Excellent algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in early-stage or fast-moving startup environments.
- Background in robotics, distributed systems, or performance engineering.
- Experience teaching or mentoring (e.g., TA for algorithms or operating systems).
- Exposure to data-heavy or real-time processing environments.
- Demonstrated systems experience or backend infrastructure exposure.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and interest in applied mathematics.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
- Consistent, impactful work history with clear progression.
