This work is supporting all of NASIC when it comes to the extracting, reading large chunks of data to essentially make it easier for all kinds of Analysts to pull and use. Specific data regarding OPIR (overhead persistence infrared). These algorithms have been incorporated to help with change detection, target detection, feature selection, object clustering, tracking, background suppression, false alarm rejection, classification, and other tasks.

Job Description:
A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Data Engineer to sit onsite in Dayton OH. This person will be joining a highly collaborative team to support various tasks within NASIC when it comes to OPIR (Overhead persistence Infrared) data. This person's responsibilities will include taking large amounts of data and maximizing the efficiency whether that is combing through the data, extracting/organizing, improving the tools already there and available, creating new tools within the databases, providing scripting and or data queries when needed. This person should be able to look at the formatted data and give opinion as to how to extract it and make it better/ more accessible for the Analysts who are using this information all across the base. This work is supporting real world operations in real time on a regular basis!
