Data Engineer, On prem, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Must have worked in a regulated environment Financial Service environment. Fully home based. Salary £ 55000 - 60000 + excellent benefits

Please be aware the majority of the work is on-Prem so strong on-prem skills are critical with some cloud knowledge. You must have also worked in a regulated financial service environment.

Expanding financial services client are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. Working with MS technologies you will be part of a team that will implement complex data solutions that provide best in class customer experience and allow the business to make data driven decisions. Working across the business you will develop solutions aligned to business requirements.

Key Accountabilities -

• Deliver high quality enterprise level data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
• Work closely with architects and senior data engineers.
• Contribute to agile events.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and release notes.
• Conduct testing prior to release.

Experience Required -

• Previous experience in data engineering and business intelligence.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (ideally financial services)
• Expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, etc
• Expertise with data pipelines and integrations ( ETL / ELT)
• A good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data normalisation, etc
• Knowledge of data manipulation languages (T-SQL, DAX)
• Agile (ideally Kanban)
• Power BI

Knowledge of scripting languages and cloud technologies is an advantage however this role is mainly on-prem.
